Mark Oldenburgh....A great man

A good friend of ours, Mark Oldenburgh has been battling a rare form of cancer since 2000.
He is incredibly strong and beyond optimistic. He certainly knows how to have a good time and lights up a room in a heartbeat. He and his wife Annie have been married since last November.
There was a benefit held on Mark and Annie's behalf this past Sunday. It was an amazing turnout of people there to support them and both of their families in this time of need.
Mark has a website and you can go here to check it out.
As far as treatment goes, Mark's options have been exhausted and now they are doing alternative medicine, seeking a miracle.
As I, along with our friends and family continue to pray for him, we hope that you can do the same. None of us are ready to say goodbye to him and hope he will be with us for a very long time.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and visiting his website.

A fabulous turnout

Our friend Greg "Cheech" played with Hooch at the Benefit.

Apparently my kid is a gamblin' man

The kidlets listening to Hooch, they know good music when they hear it.

Mark...
You are in all our prayers and we love you dearly.

Hopefully I'm back to stay

Hey Everyone,

Man, it has really been a LONG time.
I know you all thought I probably fell of the face of the earth, or if you didn't think that, maybe you though I had given up on blogging (believe me....it crossed my mind) but I have decided against it!

I have so incredibly busy with working full time, being a mom and fiance and planning a wedding.

Landen turned 3 at the end of November and I still get over the fact at how fast time flies by, it's crazy. Does anyone else wonder how that happens? (I know you do...)

Trav and I have set a date. We are getting married on November 14, 2009. I am so excited yet so incredibly overwhelmed. It seems as though planning this wedding has consumed all my time.

I have most of everything booked, all except for the transportation. To say that we have an enormous wedding party is an understatement. There are 7 bridesmaids, 7 groomsmen, 2 ushers, 2 ring bearers, and 2 flower girls.

I really want my flower girls to wear tutus with white leotards and tights and ballet slippers, SO if anyone knows where I can get them for a reasonable price, please let me know.

Here is our wedding website address....

Here are a couple of pictures of what I am having just so you can see.

This is what my bouquet is going to look like.

And these are what my bridesmaids will be wearing, only in the color Sable, it's a dark brown.

Well I better be off, I have my friends two little boys both under the age of 3 sleeping over tonight, so I am going to have my hands full!!!!!

13 months.... 13 MONTHS!

Ok, so yes I have been a bad blogger, a REALLY bad blogger to say the least.

However I am seeking your help (if anyone will even be reading this post).

I am having my wedding November 14 2009 and I will am trying to have an Asian Inspired/Fall themed wedding.

I am lost surfing the internet trying to find the perfect ideas for the right kind of flowers, centerpieces, favors ( I think I know what I may be doing for favors), etc.

If anyone, and I mean ANYONE can give me any input/insight/shed some light/give me ideas, etc you get the picture on different ideas for our wedding, I will be ever so grateful!

Please help!
